How it all began: our story.
Always looking into the future is part of the Star Trading success story. We are convinced that if you want stay on pulse of time and actively shape the future, you must look ahead. But every now and then we also like to look back. Back to our history and the constant progress of our company.
In 1988, the Star Trading Company was founded by Manfred Titze. His vision: The production of customized heat-resistant steel castings. Due to the company’s location in Hong Kong, it was possible to build up a network from the very beginning, which is still the basis of our cooperation with Chinese partners today.
Expert in heat-resistant metal products.
Due to the expertise in the field of chemical substances, Star Trading Company was expanded step by step by new business areas. Thus, also the portfolio was constantly expanded and more and more products, such as paints, varnishes, graphite or padlocks, were exported from China to Europe.
Despite the growing product range, Manfred Titze’s heart beat for one area above all: the metal industry, specifically the manufacture of heat-resistant steel products. In northern China, he found the right partners for casting the metal parts. Not only his experience and expertise, but also his stable cooperation with the industry made it possible to systematically optimize technology and processes.

Since the company was founded in 1988, many things have changed. Our company has grown, innovation and investment have been implemented constantly. But some things have also remained the same. We are still a family business that combines professionalism and personality. In 2016, Star Trading Company became Star Trading Partners Ltd. The company is now managed by Theresa, Manfred Titze’s daughter, and her husband Dominik Stracke.
